The pictures I had posted on my facebook of the set's I made for my sister got such great feedback. I had a few people ask me to make them a set for presents. I recently finished one of the orders for my friends and put together a sort of half-ish tutorial on how I make them. :)
One saturday about two months or so ago, I saw these adorable onesies at the local European Market. And I thought to myself, I've seen those all over the internet! I hadn't actually thought to look into it every time I came across it online. I just sort of passed it by. Mostly I saw the ties with the numbers on them counting the months from 1-12. Super cute DIY photo ops for new parents! I didn't want to go into that far depth when I tried to the project the first time for my older sister.

Last month my older sister had her baby shower, along with her younger sister. (Sort of confusing I know.) They had a joint babyshower since they were due so close to eachother. I was super excited. I always love the chance to make things for people. (Oh and of course for having a new nephew on the way! ^_^ ) But, because at that time I was working 60+ hours a week between my two jobs, I didn't have time to actually make anything. :(
So what do I do? Go crazy cram crafting! I made all this in less than 24 hours. Excluding the lion which I had made months ago and just didn't have anyone to give it to until now. I went shopping for the materials and sewed everything the Friday before the babyshower. Which was hectic. My little sister, Jessie, and I had to leave that friday afternoon to drive the 4 hours south to where my sister lives. That cut my time even more. I made another shirt today! But, I changed it up a little bit from how I did it last time. Only changed a few details but thought I would share it all with you guys. I decided to try something with a little more detail. Hence my Dr. Who TARDIS. It was hard finding an outline that was detailed but not too detailed. But, I think I nailed it! It turned out so nice!
I didn't think that I would actually try this project when I first came across it months ago to be honest. I thought I wouldn't ever come up with a project that I really wanted to do in order to use it. Recently, I came across the awesome PETA "I'm a veggiesaurus" T-shirt, I had to make my own! (I did buy the real t-shirt from PETA too, it's in the mail! :D ) To celebrate my first "veggie-ersary", I was obsessing over how to make a cute shirt of my own.
I saw this idea on pinterest forever ago! Two ingredient ice cream?! I thought, what?! Seriously?! I just had to try this. I only now got around to trying it. Here is where I first found the idea:
Recipe Mine did not turn out quite the way it should have. I'm super impatient. My bananas weren't all the way frozen like the actual recipe calls for. BUT, it still turned out amazing. It was super easy to make also. I didn't add in cocoa though. My roommate and I wanted to try it first with just peanut butter and bananas. Our freezer is super tiny, so we could only freeze a few at a time. I also found that these frozen sliced up bananas are the perfect quick snack. I am always on the run. I can just grab a small amount out of my freezer and munch on them in the summer heat. : ) There is my new crochet rug! I am so in love with it. Every time I walk into my room my eyes just go straight to it. It's just not something everyone has and I love that about it. I followed a a tutorial I found off pinterest. Which is no surprise. I get more than 80% of all my craft ideas from pinterest.
